Horrible customer compensation

I opened a can of Hunts tomato paste which is not supposed to be expired till a year later. Inside the can was all rusted, had a web all over it and the worst of it all was when i saw a worm crawling up inside the paste. I called their customer service all they could do for compensation was a $4 coupon! Unbelievable! SMH

User's recommendation: nto worth supporting their business.

Crushed tomatoes have changed in taste and texture.

It no longer has the typical small chunks that crushed tomatoes implies. It is a sauce. It has a metal aftertaste. For years I have only used this brand but I will no longer get this. Time to move on.

User's recommendation: If you like a metal aftertaste then this brand is for you.

Mislabeled product

I purchased 2 cans of Hunt's petite diced tomatoes I opened them and poured one can into mu Italian turkey dressing mixture, and it was tomato sauce NOT diced tomatoes. Everything was totally ruined the ground beef/pork mixture which included Parmesan cheese...eggs...and bread crumbs. The rice that was added. The cost of groceries is so high now that this was quite a loss. I am very disgusted with Hunt's - the second can was also sauce - NOT diced ! tomatoes!

User's recommendation: Use Cantadina - I have never had a problem with that product! Tops was out of the Cantadina diced tomatoes.

Not what the label described

I bought 4 28oz cans of Hunts crushed tomatoes at Walmart. When I opened each one the consistency of the tomatoes was anything thing but crushed. All four cans were a fine sauce, nothing like crushed. I bought them on the last weekend of Aug 2021. I have bought this product many times in the past and never had this problem.

User's recommendation: Buyer beware, if you plan on buying more then 1 28oz can of this product I would only buy one to make sure your getting the right product.

Angry!

This is a comment and question. Why did you change the recipe on the Ketchup? Hunts WAS the best. Now, dare I say it, should I tell it, HEINZ is now the king of ketchup. Remove the garlic powder, did you? Lose a lot of customers, will you? Certainly you have with me. Perhaps you should start putting raw tomatoes in your ketchup bottles... that would be a step UP. Is that all you could do? Sit around and think of ways to adulterate what used to be the best brand of ketchup? I find your recipe change repulsive and unacceptable! You could at least have given us the option. Purchase the well established, loved and cherished recipe, or the new, disgusting, lower than HEINZ ketchup, HUNTS! Hmm... do you think that would have been more reasonable than trying to shove your "new" recipe down our throats? I'm going to use a different brand from now on. Perhaps HEINZ stock will improve now that their ketchup is the best. I am very upset and angry! And I can't be the only one. Shame on you! Shame! Shame! Shame! Indignantly yours, Fuming in Ohio!

User's recommendation: Look elsewhere for great tasting ketchup. Hunts... yuck!

NOT A COMPLAINTG

With the economy the way it is, we decided to shop at Save-A-Lot for cheaper prices. One of the items we purchased was ketchup (won't divulge the brand name), I made 2 meatloaves using SAL's ketchup for the topping. It tasted horrible. We then went to another store and purchased your brand of ketchup. Hunts ketchup will be the only brand I will use in my house. Thank you for such a great product.

SNEAKY SALES TACTIC

I was a long time consumer of Heinz ketchup until I found out it was loaded with high fructose corn syrup. I then switched to Hunts because it had no high fructose. So my local store had a sale on Hunts ketchup and I purchased 2 of them. I get home and just checking the ingredients label and it said it contains high fructose....wtf. I then look at my old bottle and on the front it say's "no high fructose" on the label. Turns out Hunt's made 2 types of ketchup. One with and the other without high fructose. Why is this sneaky you ask? Because they made the labels exactly the same except for the wording on the front label which says "no high fructose". As a consumer I look at the company name on the label"Hunt's" and expect that there is no added fructose. Just grab and go right. Well that's how they made more money. It is a bait and switch sales tactic. Be smart and don't let these companies fool you and send them an email like I did calling them sneaky sales tactics.
